Datahouse AG in Lisbon seeks a senior full-stack software engineer to drive backend and frontend development. You will design services using Java and Spring Boot, build rich frontends with Angular and TypeScript, and work with PostgreSQL in an Agile environment.

You will own features end-to-end, collaborate with business partners, and contribute to scalable architecture while enjoying a hybrid work setup across the Lisbon office and remote options.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with full stack focus
• Deep hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Boot
• Strong frontend experience with Angular and TypeScript
• Experience with PostgreSQL and REST APIs
• Familiarity with Git/Bitbucket and SCRUM methodologies

Your responsibility

• Requirement Analysis & Software Development: Understand and analyze business needs then translate them into robust, scalable software solutions
• Backend Development : Design and implement reliable backend services, APIs, and integrations using Java and Spring Boot
• Data & Architecture: Develop maintainable data solutions with PostgreSQL and contribute to scalable technical architecture
• End-to-End Ownership : Take ownership of features throughout their lifecycle, from technical refinement and implementation to code review, delivery, and production support
• Collaboration : Work closely with business partners to clarify and refine requirements while fostering an open culture of knowledge sharing within and across teams
• Technical Expertise: Guide your peers with your full stack expertise and grow alongside a diverse group of professionals

Your Profile

• University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent; Relevant technical certifications are a plus
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong full stack focus (including at least 3 years on a complex, long-term project
• Deep hands‑on expertise in Java and Spring Boot
• Solid experience building maintainable frontend applications with Angular and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of relational databases and hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience designing/developing REST APIs, integrations, and distributed or service-oriented applications
• A strong understanding of development lifecycle management (Git, BitBucket) and hands‑on experience with Pull Requests
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM, and an adaptable mindset
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
• Additional experience: Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools, generative AI, or integrating AI capabilities into software products
• Experience working with or contributing to a design system or component library and working closely with UX/UI designers
