Job summary

Street Smash Burgers in Porto is seeking an Area Manager to lead our Porto-area restaurants, own results, ensure quality, and develop teams across stores. You’ll be the link between HQ and the floor, and the trusted advisor for Store Managers.

You’ll drive sales and profitability, monitor KPIs, roll out HQ initiatives, train managers, and maintain HACCP and safety standards while traveling between sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Area Manager / District Manager in restaurants or multi-site retail.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate large teams.
• Strong results orientation and business data analysis skills.
• Advanced Excel and main management software skills; willing to travel between Porto stores.
• Professional working proficiency in Portuguese and English.

• Own sales, profitability and growth in your area: track store KPIs, build improvement plans and bring development proposals to management
• Oversee day-to-day operations and step into stores when significant issues come up
• Coordinate teams and shifts, giving hands-on operational guidance

The role

You’ll lead our restaurants in the Porto area, owning results, quality and team development across every store. You’ll be the link between HQ and the floor, and the person our Store Managers count on.

Who we’re looking for

Must-have

• Advanced Excel and main management software skillsFlexibility to travel frequently between stores in the Porto area, with a valid driver’s license (Category B) and willingness to use your own vehicle
• Professional working proficiency in Portuguese and English

• Experience in a startup or during rapid expansion of a restaurant chain
• Professional working proficiency in Spanish
• Degree in Business, Management or equivalent
