Job summary

Decskill is seeking an Architect Atlassian Expert to design and secure Jira Cloud architecture across its hubs. You will scope the Jira architecture, define governance, and ensure data isolation and maintainability.

You will translate client needs into Jira configurations, support migrations, and deliver technical-functional documentation plus workshops for onboarding and adoption. The role emphasizes advisory excellence and scalable IT solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Jira and Atlassian tools.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture and integrations.
• Ability to draft technical-functional documentation for Jira workflows.
• Ability to define permission and access schemas in Jira.
• Ability to plan data migration between Jira instances or from third-party tools.
• Experience leading Proof of Concept experiments.
• Experience preparing materials and running tool onboarding workshops.

We are looking for an Architect Atlassian Expert

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the design, structure, and security of the Jira Cloud architecture as part of the deployment across CAGIP's technology hubs.

• Scope the functional and technical architecture of the Jira Cloud instance;
• Define the governance, administration, and maintainability principles for the solution;
• Support the centralization of Jira spaces/projects while ensuring data segregation;
• Design Jira configuration models: ticket types, workflows, screens, fields, roles, permissions, and notifications;
• Ensure cross-functional consistency between the various hubs, streams, and user teams;
• Identify risks of organizational drift: duplicated configurations, unmanaged workflows, overly open permissions, excessive complexity;
• Propose reusable Jira standards to facilitate industrialization and maintenance;
• Support project teams in defining requirements and translating them into suitable Jira solutions;
• Challenge requests in order to preserve the simplicity, readability, and robustness of the instance;
• Support security matters: access, roles, permissions, ticket visibility, account management, and Atlassian best practices;
• Contribute to design, governance, and user/admin documentation deliverables;
• Act in an advisory capacity to the client on Atlassian Cloud best practices.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of JIRA and Atlassian tools;
• Knowledge of architecture and tool integration;
• Drafting technical‑functional documentation on workflows and elements implemented in the Jira instance;
• Proficiency in permission and access schemas within Jira;
• Ability to define and carry out a data migration plan between Jira instances or from a third‑party tool to a Jira instance;
• Project management and running of a Proof of Concept experiment;
• Drafting materials and facilitating workshops for tool onboarding, ideation, and adoption;
