Job summary

Klöckner Pentaplast Group in Porto, Portugal, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant on a maternity cover basis to join the Shared Service Centre.

The role focuses on AR activities, including factoring, receipts processing, bank posting, month-end close, and intercompany reconciliations, supporting audits and financial statements. English fluency is mandatory, and a relevant accounting degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and MS Office.
• Good knowledge of English (mandatory) and another European language preferred.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and JDE E1 (preferred).
• Analytical and organisational skills; ability to work in international environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle AR activities in the SSC including factoring, postings and reconciliations.
• Process receipts of payments and posted bank statements.
• Manage deductions, credit notes, and invoice postings as applicable.
• Support AR intercompany reconciliation and month-end close.
• Prepare AR reporting and assist in financial statements preparation.
• Maintain accounts and participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Support audits and related compliance.
