Job summary

MG Motor Portugal seeks an Accountant to provide accounting support to the Finance Manager in Lisbon. You will learn Portuguese accounting practices, including invoicing, AP/AR, and reconciliations, while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have Portuguese work experience in a similar role, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, and strong MS Office skills. Fluency in English is required; Primavera experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Portuguese work experience in similar positions is required.
• Familiar with the Portuguese accounting and taxation system.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting support to the Finance Manager.
• Assist in AP/AR processing and invoice handling.
• Perform account reconciliations and data maintenance.
• Support internal and external audits and communications.
• Coordinate smooth accounting operations across the country.
