Axians Portugal is seeking a Senior Application Production Support professional with strong expertise in production support, core banking operations, and proactive automation. You will ensure service availability and contribute to improvements across platforms.

The role involves on-call rotations, incident handling, and collaboration with teams, using technologies such as Unix/Linux, Oracle, Kubernetes, Docker, and ITIL practices.

Qualificações

• Proven experience in L1/L2 Application Production Support within complex environments.
• Previous experience supporting applications in the banking sector.
• Experience with Autosys and middleware technologies such as MQ and Tomcat.
• Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Provide production support for critical applications and platforms, ensuring service availability and stability.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and service requests raised by business teams.
• Monitor application, middleware, and system performance, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.
• Contribute to service quality improvements through automation initiatives and problem management practices.
• Participate in production support activities, including shifts, on-call rotations, disaster recovery exercises, and application change support.

APPLICATION PRODUCTION SUPPORT

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Senior Application Production Support with strong expertise in application support, core banking operations, production environments, and troubleshooting, combined with a proactive mindset focused on service improvement and automation.

What You Will Do On a Daily Basis

• Provide production support for critical applications and platforms, ensuring service availability and stability.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and service requests raised by business teams.
• Monitor application, middleware, and system performance, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.
• Contribute to service quality improvements through automation initiatives and problem management practices.
• Participate in production support activities, including shifts, on-call rotations, disaster recovery exercises, and application change support.

Your Key Skills

• Strong expertise in Unix/Linux environments and Shell Scripting.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle Databases, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Data Platforms, Data Warehousing, and production support environments.
• Knowledge of monitoring, cloud, and automation technologies such as Dynatrace, Kubernetes (K8), Docker, and Ansible.
• Understanding of ITIL practices, incident management, problem management, and service improvement methodologies.

Your Main Qualifications
