Axians Portugal is seeking a Senior Cloud Application Production Support professional to join a critical banking-sector environment. You will ensure application stability, handle incidents and requests, and contribute to service improvements across production, DR, and automation initiatives using cloud and container technologies.

Daily work includes building automation with Ansible and Terraform, containerizing legacy apps, and mentoring peers in Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes, with a focus

Qualificações

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Operations or Software Engineering.
• At least 2 years hands-on experience with public cloud technologies (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• At least 2 years hands-on experience with Ansible and Docker.
• Experience with Kubernetes environments and automation platforms.
• Certifications such as RH294, CKAD, or DO374 are valued; Terraform Associate and Vault Associate are a plus.
• Professional proficiency in English.

CLOUD APPLICATION PRODUCTION SUPPORT

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Application Production Support professional to join a critical application support environment within the banking sector. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring application stability, handling incidents and service requests, and contributing to service improvement initiatives. You will play an important role in supporting production environments, disaster recovery activities, and automation initiatives while working with modern cloud and containerization technologies.

What You Will Do On a Daily Basis

• Build and maintain Ansible playbooks and terraform scripts to automate provisioning, configuration and deployments.
• Work on containerization of legacy applications.
• Assist & train other ops profiles on Ansible, Terraform and K8s.
• Provisioning, Configuration, Deployment, DR.

Your Key Skills

• Strong knowledge of Linux platforms and command-line environments.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and/or Bash.
• Solid understanding of Continuous Integration tools and practices.
• Strong expertise in infrastructure automation using Ansible and Terraform.
• Experience working with public cloud platforms such as IBM Cloud, AWS, or Azure.

Your Main Qualifications
