Capgemini Engineering is seeking an Android Software Developer to contribute to the development of embedded and real-time systems across Linux, Android, and QNX environments.

You will design, integrate, and optimize OS software for safety-critical platforms, working with C/C++ on embedded systems and Android HALs. Hybrid work and international project exposure are offered.

Qualificações

• Strong embedded Linux knowledge, including architecture, configuration, monitoring and profiling.
• Deep knowledge of AOSP and Android OS architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Android Automotive OS (AAOS).
• Experience with development of Linux/Android HALs.
• Proficient in C and embedded C/C++ development.
• Strong knowledge of Embedded C++ design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Advanced Device Drivers knowledge.
• Proficient in Git version control.
• Experience with scripting in Bash, Python, and/or Rust.
• Experience with hypervisor-based systems (preferably QNX).
• Knowledge in SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet.

Your Role:

As an Android Software Developer, you will contribute to the development of next-generation embedded and real-time systems, working on highly connected and safety-critical platforms. You will play a key role in designing, integrating, and optimizing operating system software across Linux, Android, and QNX environments, supporting the delivery of innovative and reliable solutions for a wide range of industries.

Your Profile:

• Strong understanding of embedded Linux architecture, configuration, monitoring, and profiling;
• Thorough knowledge of the lower layers of AOSP and the Android OS architecture;
• Strong knowledge of Android Automotive OS (AAOS);
• Strong knowledge of Android Build System (Make, Soong);
• Experience with development of Linux/Android HALs;
• Proficient in C and strong demonstrable embedded C/C++ development skills;
• Strong knowledge of Embedded C++ design principles, patterns, and best practices;
• Advanced Device Drivers knowledge
• Proficient in Git version control;
• Experience with scripting/programming in Bash, Python, and/or Rust;
• Experience with hypervisor-based systems (preferably QNX);
• Knowledge in low level communication protocols: SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet;
