Job summary

Accenture Portugal is seeking an AML/Transaction Monitoring Analyst to prevent financial crime through proactive monitoring and investigative analysis across Consumer and Partner segments.

The role covers end-to-end case handling from alert review to disposition, including SARs, with hands-on experience in TM alerts within European financial institutions. English and German language skills are essential, and a valid work permit for Portugal is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Law, or related field.
Proficiency in English and German at C1 level.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze transactional activity for money laundering patterns.
Conduct end-to-end AML investigations and SAR/STR preparation.
Prepare case narratives for escalation and regulatory reporting.
Perform background checks on counterparties using public and subscribed sources.
Maintain audit trails in case management systems.
Collaborate with QA to ensure regulatory compliance.
Identify red flags and suggest process improvements.
