Job summary

Bridge351 is seeking a Technical Owner for the AI Hub to drive the technical direction of a portfolio of AI solutions, from PoC to production. You will set architectural standards, guide engineers, and ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable deployments.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, architecture and business teams, while promoting best practices in CI/CD, testing and monitoring. This role offers 100% remote work and international career opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or related field.
• Strong experience in software/AI engineering and ML.
• Proven track record leading AI/software solutions from design to production.
• Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents and ML frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms and AI services; Azure preferred.
• Understanding of APIs, CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and MLOps.
• Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluent English.

About the project
Join the IT organisation of a leading European parcel and logistics group, handling more than 840 million parcels a year across 40+ countries. As technical co-owner of the AI Hub, you’ll work side by side with the Business Lead to set the technical direction of a growing portfolio of AI solutions, from first idea and PoC to production and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do

• Act as technical owner of the AI Hub and take technical responsibility for the solutions it builds and supports

• Ensure consistency in architecture, engineering practices and technology choices across the portfolio

• Guide AI solutions through their full lifecycle: solution design, PoC, development, testing and production

• Support AI Engineers with complex technical challenges and architecture decisions

• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable and operationally ready

• Promote engineering best practices for AI development: code quality, testing, CI/CD and monitoring

• Encourage reusable components and shared technical patterns across AI initiatives

• Evaluate new AI developments and run PoCs to assess their potential

• Weigh complexity, cost and expected value, and challenge the use of AI where a simpler approach works better

• Represent the AI Hub in technical discussions with engineering, architecture and business teams

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science or a related field, or equivalent experience

• Strong experience in software engineering, AI engineering or machine learning

• Proven track record technically leading complex AI or software solutions from design to production

• Solid knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents and machine learning frameworks

• Experience with cloud platforms and cloud AI services, ideally Azure (AWS or Google Cloud also valued)

• Good understanding of APIs, system integration, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring and DevOps/MLOps

• Ability to translate business problems into the right technical solutions

• Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical audiences

• Ability to influence technical decisions across teams without relying on formal authority

• Fluent English
