Job summary

WTW group is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, build, and deliver AI solutions that solve real business problems and scale reliably. You will work hands-on with code and low-code tools, collaborating with business users and engineers across Lisbon and Manila.

The role emphasizes end-to-end AI development, from prototyping to production, with a focus on data fabrics, evaluation, governance, and cost-aware delivery. Fluency in English is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML engineering, low-code automation or AI solution development.
• Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#/.NET or other relevant languages.
• Experience building Generative AI and LLM-based applications (RAG, agents, tool calling).
• Productionizing software or AI solutions with APIs, databases and cloud platforms.
• Experience with cloud platforms; Microsoft Azure preferred.
• Knowledge of Responsible AI and governance requirements.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into AI-enabled solutions and measurable value.
• Design, build and deliver AI applications using LLMs and agent patterns.
• Develop reusable agent skills and maintain shared assets.
• Combine code-first and low-code approaches (Power Platform, Copilot Studio).
• Prototype, evaluate and advance ideas to production with proper monitoring.
