Job summary

Hexa Consulting is seeking a Mid AI Engineer to lead the design and development of Machine Learning, Generative AI and agentic solutions in a hybrid work model. The role covers the end-to-end lifecycle from business problem analysis to deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement.

You will mentor junior data scientists, collaborate with cross-functional teams and shape solutions using ML, LLMs, and RAG approaches with a strong emphasis on quality and scalable delivery.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Machine Learning, Generative AI or similar AI engineering contexts.
• Strong ability to lead technical discussions, mentor juniors and communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of ML, Generative AI, RAG and AI agent use cases with business impact.
• Translate complex business needs into analytical and AI-based solutions.
• Define technical approaches involving ML, LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings and agentic frameworks.
• Contribute across the full solution lifecycle, from problem framing and experimentation to deployment and monitoring.
• Define evaluation frameworks for models, outputs, performance and reliability.
• Support optimization, robustness and scalability of AI solutions.
• Mentor junior Data Scientists and share knowledge within the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and delivery.
