Job summary

EY is establishing a Europe West Tech Hub in Portugal and seeking a Manager - AI & Data Engineer to lead data platform initiatives at scale. You will join client engagement teams, shape data architectures, and deliver end-to-end analytics and AI-enabled solutions across cloud environments.

You’ll work with Azure data services, Databricks, and PowerBI, collaborating with solution architects, data engineers, and consultants to realize business outcomes through modern data fabrics.

Qualifications

• Degree in information systems, CS, engineering or similar.
• 6+ years of relevant consulting experience in technology.
• Strong ETL/ELT, data ingestion, cleansing and modelling knowledge.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure) and data architectures.
• Knowledge of AI/ML architectures and GenAI projects delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver data and analytics architectures for enterprise-scale projects.
• Design and implement data lake/data warehouse solutions on Azure.
• Collaborate with client teams to collect requirements and translate into scalable data solutions.
• Guide data governance and data catalog initiatives and ensure quality.
