Job summary

ISS Tech Team in Porto, Portugal, is seeking a Platform Engineer (Analytics, Data & AI) to design and manage scalable Azure infrastructure in a hybrid setup. You will build CI/CD pipelines, automate cloud tasks, and support AI services while collaborating with analytics teams across locations.

The role emphasizes Azure expertise, IaC, security controls, and cost optimization in a global environment with strong teamwork and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role focused on cloud infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including networking, compute, and security fundamentals.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or GitOps tooling.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• English proficiency, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure Azure infrastructure.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Monitor and improve system health using Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
• Define, implement, and maintain security controls (RBAC, NSGs, service principals).
• Optimize infrastructure costs with Azure Cost Management and related tooling.
• Develop automation using Python scripts and Azure SDKs.
• Support AI infrastructure: Azure AI Foundry and ML services.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across infra, networking, CI/CD, and app layers.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes and contribute to team improvements.
