Hitachi Solutions Europe is seeking a Lead Data Consultant to join the Data, Analytics & AI practice in Portugal. You will deliver bespoke data and analytics solutions, mentor teams, and advise clients on best practices to achieve scalable outcomes.

Responsibilities include leading projects, architecting data platforms on Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks, building Power BI dashboards, and guiding junior staff while aligning with European teams.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years designing and delivering cloud-based Data Engineering, Analytics, and AI solutions.
• Client-facing experience in consultancy or SI environments.
• Hands-on with Python and SQL.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
• Power BI, QlikView or Tableau for analytics visualization.
• Data modelling, ETL/ELT design and data warehousing.
• Experience with Big Data, Data Science and AI technologies.
• Leadership, mentoring and growing analytics teams.
• Trusted advisor to clients and internal teams.

Aufgaben

• Provide expert advisory on advanced analytics and data engineering practices.
• Lead teams and projects from requirements to design and implementation.
• Capture requirements and lead solution architectures for current and future needs.
• Design and develop Data Platform, BI and Advanced Analytics solutions using cloud tech.
• Lead data engineering on Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks; deliver scalable data products.
• Build interactive reports and dashboards with Power BI for actionable insights.
• Guide data modelling, ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouse design.
• Mentor junior team members and foster professional development.
• Contribute to growing the Data & Analytics team in Portugal and Europe.
