AdvanceWorks in Lisbon is seeking an experienced AI Architect to join the cross-functional architecture team and lead the design of AI-enabled software across the SDLC, Data, and Operations.

You will set standards, govern architectural evolution, and collaborate with privacy/compliance, focusing on scalable, regulated AI solutions.

The role requires hands-on coding in Java/.NET/Python, cloud expertise, and a willingness to work in a hybrid Lisbon environment with fluent Portuguese.

Qualificações

• Strong software development background with production code in Java, .NET, Python.
• Experience with AI-native architectures: agent orchestration, LLMs, RAG, guardrails, MCP.
• Cloud architecture for AI/ML workloads including cost mgmt and caching.
• Experience across heterogeneous stacks incl. OutSystems, Salesforce Agentforce, open source, microservices.
• Knowledge of GDPR and ideally EU AI Act; security-by-design mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Defining standards and blueprints for integrating AI across the SDLC, Data, and Operations.
• Ensuring interoperability between platforms while managing technical debt and legacy migration.
• Sizing infrastructure for AI/ML workloads and defining the deployment strategy.
• Participating in the Architecture Review Board to validate new initiatives.
• Contributing actively to the cross-functional architecture community.
