Claranet Portugal is seeking an AI Architect to join our Talent team in Lisbon. You will design and deliver end-to-end Generative AI solutions, from PoC to production, and coach engineering teams on scalable AI architectures.

You will work with LangChain, LlamaIndex and vector databases, selecting models and tools based on performance and cost, while upholding responsible AI governance and industry domain knowledge in manufacturing and supply chain.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in architecture or AI engineering.
• Proven experience building GenAI / LLM solutions in production.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Fluency in Portuguese.
• Experience with orchestration frameworks and vector databases.

Responsabilidades

Your responsibilities include:

• Architect and deliver end-to-end Generative AI solutions, from PoC to production.
• Design RAG pipelines, agent-based systems, and LLM orchestration layers.
• Evaluate and select models, frameworks, and tools based on performance and cost.
• Establish best practices and governance for responsible AI usage.
• Mentor engineering teams and translate business requirements into technical architecture.
• Apply domain expertise in intelligent manufacturing & supply chain solutions, including industrial technology and automation for pharmaceutical, logistics, and material processing environments.

You must have:

• 5+ years of experience in architecture or AI engineering.
• Proven experience building GenAI / LLM solutions in production.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.).
• Practical knowledge of vector databases and embedding models.
• Experience deploying models via cloud APIs or self-hosted runtimes.
• Fluency in Portuguese.
• Industry experience in one or more of the following domains: Pharmaceutical technology and solutions, Supply chain automation and logistics, Technology solutions for material processing (including paper, tissue, and tobacco), Intelligent manufacturing & supply chain solutions.

We value:

• Experience with AI gateways and model routing (e.g., LiteLLM, Bearer).
• Knowledge of LLM observability, tracing, and evaluation tools (e.g., LangSmith, Arize Phoenix).
• Experience with MLOps, CI/CD for ML, and containerized environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with AI agent frameworks (LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI).
