act digital is seeking an AI Agent Developer to design, build, and optimize AI agents and automation workflows that drive business value. You will integrate LLMs, APIs, databases, and enterprise apps while ensuring secure, compliant, and reliable AI solutions.

The role offers a flexible hybrid model with 2 office days per week in Restelo, Lisbon, Portugal, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams across the business.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, and AI automation concepts.
• Experience with AI orchestration frameworks and platforms such as: n8n, LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Flowise.
• Experience implementing RAG architectures, vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain AI agents using platforms such as n8n and similar orchestration tools.
• Build and optimize AI workflows integrating LLMs, APIs, databases, and enterprise applications.
• Develop and refine prompts, prompt chains, and agentic workflows to maximize AI performance and reliability.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and knowledge-based AI systems.
• Integrate AI solutions with internal and external platforms through REST APIs, GraphQL, webhooks, and messaging services.
• Design secure authentication and authorization mechanisms for AI applications and integrations.
• Monitor AI agent performance, reliability, and operational metrics.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and governance standards.
• Document AI workflows, integrations, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Software Engineers, Architects, and Operations teams to identify and deliver automation opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI agents using platforms such as n8n and similar orchestration tools.
• Build and optimize AI workflows integrating LLMs, APIs, databases, and enterprise applications.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, and AI automation concepts.
• Experience with AI orchestration frameworks and platforms such as: n8n, LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Flowise
• Experience implementing RAG architectures, vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search solutions.
• Hands-on experience integrating systems through REST APIs, GraphQL, webhooks, and messaging services.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization standards including: OAuth2 OpenID Connect, JWT, SAML, API Keys
• Experience with one or more AI providers such as: Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, AWS Bedrock
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate, pgvector, or Azure AI Search.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Professional English proficiency.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with n8n.
• Experience delivering AI-powered business automation solutions in production environments.
• Knowledge of insurance, insurtech, claims, or enterprise process automation domains.
