Job summary

Carrier is seeking an Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer to join the Porto team. The role blends project-phase supplier quality with serial-production oversight, ensuring robust processes before SOP and sustaining performance after launch.

You will partner with Engineering, Procurement, and Operations to assess supplier capability, drive risk mitigation, and manage containment, audits, and corrective actions globally, with regular supplier-site presence in Porto and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Quality Engineering.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, and quality tools.
• Fluent Portuguese and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Own supplier quality across the product lifecycle, from design to serial production.
• Lead supplier audits, PPAP scope, and evidence review to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to secure launch readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance and risk management.
