AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing in Porto, Portugal seeks an Accounts Payable Team Lead to drive the AP function and develop a high-performing team. You will oversee 10+ AP professionals, manage daily activities, and ensure accurate processing and controls within a dynamic, multicultural setting.

You will define KPIs, coach team members, support audits and close processes, and partner with stakeholders to continuously improve AP workflows and efficiency. Hybrid working model offered.

Results-driven Accounts Payable Team Lead responsible for managing and developing a high-performing team of 10+ AP professionals while ensuring the efficient processing of financial transactions and compliance with internal controls. Oversees daily operations, monitors key performance indicators (KPIs), conducts regular coaching and performance reviews, and fosters employee development. Partners with internal stakeholders and external auditors to support audit requirements, drives continuous process improvement initiatives, and plays a key role in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and operational excellence.
