Adecco in Portugal seeks an Accounting Specialist with 3–10 years of experience to join a dynamic team. You will handle SAP-based accounting, assist with financial statements, and contribute to process improvements in an international environment.

The role requires IFRS awareness, fluent English, and strong Excel skills, with a hybrid work model (2 remote days/week) and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years accounting experience.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain accounting records in SAP (invoices, assets, sales, accruals).
• Perform reconciliations and trial balance analysis.

• Coordinate with Group companies and internal controls.
• Support audits and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate across departments on projects and automation.

Opportunity: Accounting Specialist (3–10 Years of Experience)

We are looking for an Accountant to join a dynamic team focused on operational excellence, accounting accuracy, and continuous process improvement.

You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a leading client in the energy sector, operating within an international environment and supporting activities aimed at foreign markets. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to multicultural environments and global best practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records in SAP (invoices/purchases, fixed assets, sales, provisions, and accruals);
• Perform account reconciliations;
• Conduct monthly trial balance analysis;
• Record, monitor, and control financial investments;
• Provide accounting information to support tax assessments;
• Prepare and analyze annual accounts and financial statements;
• Monitor balances and transactions between Group companies;
• Prepare information for internal controls and audits;
• Participate in projects and collaborate with different areas of the organization as required;
• Propose solutions to standardize, automate, improve, and simplify processes and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles;
• Knowledge of IFRS standards is highly valued;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools;
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Spanish is highly valued;
• Practical knowledge of SAP (FI, AA, MM, SD modules) is highly valued;
• Knowledge of Power Query or other automation tools is also valued.

What We Offer

• Working hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM;
• Hybrid work model with 2 remote working days per week;
