A prominent accounting firm in Matosinhos is seeking experienced professionals for their Tax and Accounting department. The ideal candidate will have a degree in economics or accounting and at least 3 years of experience in an accounting role. Responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, managing client accounts, and mentoring junior staff. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of European GAAP or IFRS is advantageous. Qualificações

Responsabilidades

Your Mission

Our Tax and Accounting department is growing and we are looking for people who are eager to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Our teams work hand-in-hand with our other lines of service to help our local and international clients in accounting, tax and corporate secretarial matters. We provide comprehensive assistance to companies seeking to set up in Luxembourg and provide continuing support during all their life (i.e. mergers, sales, liquidations, corporate restructuring, etc).

Be a Part Of Our Team Where You Will

• Review financial statements or other accounting reports;
• Prepare or review consolidated accounts;
• Prepare/review GAAP conversion files (mainly IFRS/USGAAP);
• Be in charge of day-to-day management of the client files, including any accounting and tax matters;
• Share your knowledge and coach more junior staff to contribute to their development.

• A degree in economics or accounting (or similar studies);
• An experience of at least 3 years in an accounting department;
• A good understanding of any European GAAP or IFRS is an additional significant asset;
• A knowledge in the Luxembourg Tax system could be an additional significant asset;
• Use of technology;
• An open mind and are willing to work in teams and in a friendly environment;
• English fluency, French, German or any other language would be considered an asset.
