PwC Services Portugal (PSP) in Matosinhos forms an extension of PwC Luxembourg and PwC Portugal, delivering scalable, high-quality valuation services for Luxembourg clients.

We seek a valuation professional with 2–3 years of relevant experience, strong valuation knowledge, and fluency in English to grow through the Value Learning Pathway and join a collaborative, multi-cultural team.

Qualificações

• 2–3 years of experience in a similar valuation role.
• Advanced knowledge of valuation principles and techniques (income, market, asset-based).
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset.
• Detail-oriented, entrepreneurial and autonomous in a multi-cultural environment.
• Ability to research and analyze client, industry and financial matters with strong technical skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing client needs and market conditions.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and collaborate.
• Knowledge of IPEV or IVS guidelines.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg, S&P CapIQ, and advanced Excel modelling.
• Knowledge of option pricing models.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Perform and carry out valuation analysis and reviews of assets (Private Equity, Private Debt; Infrastructure and Intangible assets).
• Assess the reasonableness of valuations and financial models for financial reporting and assurance engagements.
• Exposure to advisory engagements across Alternatives such as valuation, process implementation, data analytics and benchmarking.
• Participate in the Valuation Learning Pathway to grow as a valuation professional.

PSP provides a range of services, including Assurance Audit (spanning all industries, with a particular focus on Real Estate and Private Equity), Broader Assurance Services, Tax (including Managed Services, Corporate Tax, VAT, and Accounting), and Advisory (specializing in the Global Fund Industry and Real Estate Valuation).

• Perform and carry out valuation analysis and reviews of a wide spectrum of assets (Private Equity, Private Debt; Infrastructure assets, as well as Intangible assets).
• Assess the reasonableness of valuations and financial models in the context of financial reporting and assurance related engagements.
• Have the opportunity for exposure to advisory engagements across the Alternatives industry such as valuation, process implementation and review, data analytics and benchmarking.

About

Let’s talk about you. If you are/have …

• 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of valuation principles and techniques (income, market, and asset based approach) with regards to business valuation.
• Strong analytical skills, problem solver, detail-oriented, entrepreneurial, autonomous and enjoying working in a multi-cultural environment.
• Ability to research and analyse pertinent client, industry, and financial matters, while demonstrating strong technical and analytical skills.
• Being flexible when adapting to changing client needs and market conditions.
• Ability to manage multiple threads of tasks and / or engagements.
• Proven ability to mentor and guide junior team members, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
• Sound knowledge of recognized valuation guidelines, such as IPEV guidelines or IVS.
• Sound knowledge of industry software’s and tools (i.e. Bloomberg, S&P CapIQ, and/or advanced Excel modelling).
• Knowledge of option pricing models.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbally.
