Job summary

Stellantis Shared Services Portugal in Maia seeks an Accounting & Finance Trainee to support accounting, treasury and financial administration activities in an international environment.

You'll gain hands-on experience across customer, supplier, reconciliation and reporting processes while developing practical accounting skills within Stellantis' Shared Services Center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Sciences, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, or related field.
• Be eligible for an IEFP Internship.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Knowledge of accounting systems, ERP tools or international accounting environments is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting, treasury, invoicing, and financial administration services within the Shared Services Center.
• Contribute to the accurate management of customer and supplier accounting processes.
• Assist with reconciliations, reporting activities, and financial control procedures.
• Develop practical knowledge of accounting principles, financial systems, and international finance operations.
• Collaborate with multicultural teams while supporting service quality and operational efficiency.
• Gradually build technical expertise and autonomy across different areas of Finance and Accounting.

Stellantis is looking for a Accounting & Finance Trainee to join our team at Stellantis Shared Services Portugal in Maia.

We are one of the world’s leading automakers and a mobility provider, with 14 iconic automotive brands and 2 mobility arms. At Stellantis Shared Services Portugal, we provide shared services to Stellantis entities across Europe, delivering expertise in accounting operations, financial services support, FP&A, reporting, and management controlling. Our teams support industrial, retail, commercial, and financial services activities across multiple European countries.

As an Accounting & Finance Trainee, you will support accounting, treasury, and financial administration activities within Stellantis' Shared Services Center. Through hands‑on experience across customer, supplier, treasury, reconciliation, and reporting processes, you will develop practical accounting and finance skills while contributing to the delivery of high‑quality financial services in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of accounting, treasury, invoicing, and financial administration services within the Shared Services Center;
• Contribute to the accurate management of customer and supplier accounting processes;
• Assist with reconciliations, reporting activities, and financial control procedures;
• Develop practical knowledge of accounting principles, financial systems, and international finance operations;
• Collaborate with multicultural teams while supporting service quality and operational efficiency;
• Gradually build technical expertise and autonomy across different areas of Finance and Accounting.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous academic projects, internships, extracurricular activities, or initial exposure to Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration will be considered an advantage;
• Bachelor's degree in Business Sciences, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field;
• Be elegible to an IEFP Internship;
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial administration processes;
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a professional environment;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team;
• Proactive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines;
• Knowledge of accounting systems, ERP tools, or international accounting environments is considered an advantage.

Language Requirements:

• Fluent English, both written and spoken;
• French or other European languages are a plus.
