We Are META is seeking an Application Support Engineer to provide around‑the‑clock support for critical applications from its Porto base. You will work with cross‑functional teams to drive infrastructure improvements and strengthen security, including on‑call rotations and timely incident remediation.

The ideal candidate has 6 years in support engineering, deep Windows administration experience, and solid runbook/documentation skills, with English fluency (B2).

Qualificações

• 6 years of experience as a Support Engineer.
• Expertise in Windows environment administration including vulnerability remediation, patch management, and security hardening of infrastructure systems.
• Strong ability to develop and maintain runbooks, incident logs and security procedures.
• Fluency in English at B2 level.
• Hybrid work model based in Porto, Portugal; valid work permit for Portugal or EU citizenship.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule to deliver 24/7 support for critical applications.
• Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement timely remediation.
• Document operational runbooks, incident logs, and security procedures for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development, product, and infrastructure teams to plan and execute vulnerability remediation and operational enhancements.
