A leading institute in procurement is seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager to operate hybrid from Wrocław. Responsibilities include developing sourcing strategies and managing procurement processes. Candidates should have over 10 years of global procurement experience with knowledge of logistics sourcing. The role offers benefits such as health care and flexible working hours.
This role can be done hybrid: 2 days per week from office in Wrocław. DES applications preferred.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sourcing Manager to join our team in Wrocław. This pivotal role involves directly supporting and implementing global sourcing requirements across the Logistics category, in full coordination with global Operations teams. You will be the key link between internal stakeholders, Procurement, and external suppliers, accountable for understanding business drivers and ensuring requirements are fulfilled. You will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies, standard operating procedures, and sustainable cost improvement processes. We are looking for an energetic team player proficient in strategic sourcing best practices to maximize value in terms of cost savings, risk reduction, quality, and supplier innovation. Ensuring appropriate documentation and communication throughout the whole source to contract process until contract signature incl. facilitating the sourcing & contracting steps. Conduct sourcing processes and develop/analyze RfI/RfP/RfQ documents for all transport modes and warehousing. This involves conducting thorough spend and market analyses, leading cross-functional sourcing teams, rigorously evaluating suppliers (including financial stability and ethical standards), and negotiating project and framework contracts. You will oversee contract management (e.g., NDAs, framework agreements), assess supplier risk, and ensure strict adherence to local (US, Canadian) and international regulations.
