Translate the work of the Analytics function into findings for application by the broader business, including for use in strategic decision making and planning. Implement analytical approaches and methodologies and assist in the interpretation of results. Drive conversations with the business on data best practises, set up control groups and educate on structured analysis ensuring maximum value can be extracted from any tests being run by the business. ****In this role you will:***** Help improve data and analytics systems and platforms, contributing to the continuous improvement and refinement of data and analytics strategy. * Support interpretation of advanced and predictive analytics data, using data querying languages and software. Have the drive and desire to continue learning nest practises and new tools.* Collate and analyze data using pre-set tools, methods and formats. Involves working independently, but some support is expected.* Work independently to collate and analyze data using predetermined tools, methods, and formats to create standard insights.* Help others get the most out of data management systems by providing support and advices* Contribute to the preparation of various data and analytics reports.* Consult and educate stakeholders on methods for streamlining and standardizing data recording to ensure quality and accuracy.* Support creation of reports by applying standard statistical analysis or data preparation methods.* Be able to apply the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.* Build partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.* Takes on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.* Experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised (minimum of 2 years of commercial experience) * Experience working in SQL and Python programming * Be passionate about data and transforming it into actionable insights * Have an understanding of the Finance industry * Have experience with enterprise business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, Domo or MicroStrategy, with Domo as an asset * Have worked in, and with, Google Cloud/BigQuery/BigData or other cloud technology. * University degree in numerate discipline or compensating work experience OANDA Global Corporation is a diverse and global team with offices around the world.
