A global technology company is seeking a Middle Front-end Engineer with expertise in React and Playwright for a remote full-time role. The position involves implementing new features, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining code quality. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, with strong debugging skills and upper-intermediate English.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React.
- Experience writing and maintaining Playwright tests is a must.
- Strong understanding of React hooks and state management.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Upper-intermediate English for communication.
Responsibilities
- Implement new features and change requests.
- Write and maintain end-to-end auto tests using Playwright.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers.
- Participate in on duty support once every two weeks.

Developers benefit from a code-first, headless environment, freeing them from mundane tasks and allowing focus on business outcomes. The Build IDE and AI Palette accelerate delivery for business technologists, providing easy access to 3rd party connectors and native AI capabilities.
- Implement new features and change requests
- Building AI agents (front-end part)
- Writing and maintaining end-to-end auto tests (Playwright)
- Using Claude Code (and other GenAI tools/copilots) in everyday work to speed development
- Fixing bugs
- Participating in CrossCode Reviews
- Applying Shape Up development methodology (previous experience is not required)
- Collaborating with product managers, designers and backend engineers
- Participate in on duty support (once every 2 weeks cycle)
- 3+ years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React
- Experience writing and maintaining Playwright tests (or similar E2E frameworks) IS A MUST
- Strong understanding of React hooks, component lifecycle, and state management
- Confident user of git. Experience of working with pull-request
- Ability to estimate tasks and meet deadlines, good time management
- Experience collaborating with product, designers and backend engineers
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Upper-intermediate English for everyday verbal and written communication
- Can work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable with ambiguity and working under start-up pressures
- Available for UK working hours
- Like to use GenAI tools for software engineering
- Rare (1-2 times a year) business trips to UK
