As our new Senior Manager - IT Architecture Partner, you will play a key role within Arla’s Commercial IT & Digital organization. Working across 11 product teams with around 230 highly skilled colleagues, you will help set the architectural direction that supports Arla’s commercial ambitions – from retail and marketing to e-commerce and sustainability. You will collaborate closely with IT Product teams and the IT Product Enablement team to co-create digital solutions and transformations across Arla’s zones and functions.

In this role, you will guide and enable our product teams to design, build, and operate digital products that are secure, scalable, and aligned with Arla’s IT architecture principles. You will ensure that our technical direction supports both innovation and stability – balancing speed and flexibility with compliance and quality.

Working in a product-oriented model, you will:

• Enable IT Product teams by defining and communicating architectural strategies and guardrails.
• Design cross-product target architectures and high-level technical solutions that support business strategy.
• Oversee the development of sustainable and robust technical solutions and infrastructures.
• Ensure solutions meet Arla’s security, quality, and documentation standards.
• Act as a servant leader and coach for IT Product Architects and Developers, ensuring professional growth and collaboration across teams.

You will report to the Head of Commercial IT & Digital and collaborate closely with product teams, enablement teams, and key business stakeholders to translate strategy into tangible technology outcomes.

The position is based in Aarhus, Denmark or Gdansk, Poland. Limited travel between locations and occasional visits to our European markets should be expected.

To succeed, you combine strong architectural leadership with the ability to drive collaboration and create clarity in complex settings. You bring a strategic mindset, business acumen, and a genuine interest in co-creating digital value.

You bring experience as a senior IT or solution architect, ideally from a commercial or customer-facing digital environment. Deep knowledge of modern enterprise and cloud architectures is essential, and you preferably have hands‑on experience with platforms such as Salesforce, Optimizely, Azure, SAP, InRiver, or 3DExperience. You have a strong grasp of IT architecture governance, security, and lifecycle management, and you know how to translate these principles into scalable, resilient solutions.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication come naturally to you, enabling you to build trust and drive alignment across diverse groups. You inspire and develop others, creating real followership and engagement across teams through your leadership and collaboration style. People management experience is a plus, or you may also bring a clear aspiration to move into formal leadership as the next step in your career.
