This is a hybrid role with three days a week in our office in Gdansk.

The opportunity

We are looking for a Technical Services Engineer to join our Technical Services team and work directly with customers on complex data and integration challenges.

This role sits at the intersection of data, product, and customer delivery. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data import and integration solutions, supporting customers through migrations and technical onboarding, and advising on the best technical approach based on customer needs and constraints.

You’ll be expected to think in solutions, not just code - understanding why a customer needs something, how their data is structured, and what the most reliable and scalable approach is.

Responsibilities
Data & Imports
  • Work with customer data sets (CSV, Excel, JSON, database exports, etc.) to design and execute reliable data imports.
  • Build, maintain, and improve native import tools and internal data processing pipelines.
  • Validate, transform, and cleanse data to ensure accuracy and integrity during imports.
  • Troubleshoot complex data issues and edge cases.
  • Understand and evaluate different data transfer approaches, including:
    • API-based integrations
    • One-off and recurring import workflows
  • Make informed decisions on when a database-driven approach is appropriate vs when an API-based solution is the right choice.
  • Work within product and platform constraints while proposing pragmatic, scalable solutions.
Customer Delivery & Communication
  • Work directly with customers to understand technical requirements and business goals.
  • Translate customer needs into clear technical solutions and explain trade-offs in a way customers can understand.
  • Act as a trusted technical partner during onboarding, migrations, and complex implementations.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Support, Product, and Engineering teams to resolve issues and improve tooling.
  • Identify recurring customer challenges and feed insights back into product and tooling improvements
  • Contribute to documentation, internal runbooks, and best practices for data imports and integrations.
What good looks like
Required
  • Strong experience working with data (structured data sets, transformations, validation).
  • Solid understanding of how data is transferred between systems.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Databases (queries, schemas, performance considerations)
    • Ability to assess and recommend DB vs API approaches based on context.
    • Experience building or maintaining internal tools, scripts, or services used for data processing or imports.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Comfortable communicating directly with customers on technical topics.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, non-technical language.
  • Calm, structured, and pragmatic when dealing with ambiguity or incomplete information.
Nice to Have
  • Experience working in a SaaS environment.
  • Exposure to data migrations or onboarding large customers.
  • Familiarity with ETL concepts or integration tooling.
  • Experience collaborating with Support or Professional Services teams.
