Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Finance Transformation & Data Governance Senior Accountant in Poland. This role involves driving finance change initiatives, managing finance workstreams, and ensuring data governance across systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial reporting and project management, along with strong communication skills. - 8+ years in financial reporting/accounting processes, ideally in a regulated environment.
- Proven track record delivering finance system/data changes.
- Strong stakeholder skills across Finance, Actuarial, IT and vendors.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Responsibilities
- Lead finance workstreams within business changes.
- Translate finance/actuarial needs into requirements for system changes.
- Strengthen governance and controls around data and reporting outputs.
- Own testing cycles: plan, coordinate, track defects, and secure sign-offs.
- Communicate complex topics simply to non-technical stakeholders.
