As a Workday Engineer within the HCM Squad, you play a key role in designing, building, and continuously enhancing HR technology solutions that support the employee lifecycle and drive business value. Within ING’s Digital Product Operating Model (DPOM), you will work in a cross-functional squad, collaborating closely with Employee Journey Experts, Product Managers, Architects, and fellow Engineers to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-centric Workday solutions.
This is a technology-focused role that combines Workday expertise, problem-solving, and product development. You will act as a bridge between business requirements and technical implementation—translating employee and business needs into effective Workday configurations, integrations, and enhancements. By leveraging your technical skills and understanding of HR processes, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of digital HR products that create meaningful experiences for employees and managers.
