Job summary

Zelh, a fast-growing outsourcing company, seeks a Weekend Customer Operations Representative to support shipment coordination and customer communication across domestic and international freight. You will build shipments in the TMS, monitor progress, and provide proactive updates through the shipment lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Previous logistics or freight operations experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to provide clear, professional customer updates throughout the day.
• Comfortable in fast-paced transportation and logistics environments.
• Identify operational issues proactively and escalate when needed.
• Experience with TMS systems and shipment tracking tools preferred.
• Strong sense of urgency and accountability.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Load Building & Shipment Setup: review DOs and set up shipments in the TMS.
• Load Coverage & Shipment Monitoring: ensure shipments are covered and escalate as needed.
• Customer Communication & Updates: provide proactive visibility throughout the lifecycle.
• Daily Updates: send ETA and location details to customers.
• Pickup & Delivery Notifications: notify upon driver events with exact times.
• Detention & Delay Communication: inform of delays and coordinate next steps.
• Import/Export Coordination: maintain tracking charts and update customer sheets.
• Final delivery docs: send charges and PODs on completion.
