Job summary

Arla Foods is seeking a Trainee to join our accounts payable team in Poland. You will assist with invoicing, verify data, and help ensure timely payments while learning the end-to-end AP process.

This role offers exposure to international finance operations, collaboration with internal stakeholders, and a path to develop SAP skills, financial controls, and Intrastat reporting.

Fluency in English is required; German B2 is a plus. 50% office presence plus one additional day monthly is expected.

Our Source to pay (S2P) department keeps that system running smoothly by managing cash flow and paying vendors. We are searching for a Trainee join our accounts payable team to be part of the process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The accounts payable specialist will have both a day-to-day impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.

How you will make an impact

• Verify invoices in Smart Scan to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Process PO and non-PO invoices, as well as credit notes, in SAP in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to support smooth financial operations.
• Prepare and validate data required for Intrastat reporting.
• Resolve ad-hoc requests and manage escalations with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and service quality.
• Support your direct supervisor with additional tasks and projects as required.

• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Please note that this role requires you to be in the office 50% of the time + one additional day (monthly).
