Job summary

Remote People is hiring a Technical Support Engineer in the Warsaw area to be the first technical contact for European installers, distributors and end users of residential and commercial energy storage and inverter products. You will also serve as the main liaison with the HQ team and travel occasionally for on-site support.

Based onsite near Warsaw, the role reports to the Country Head and includes training to expand product and market knowledge, with a company car or rental and expenses

Qualifications

• Chinese language skills and familiarity with Chinese business culture.

• Solid command of Polish and English for daily communication.

Technical Support Engineer (Energy Storage & Inverters) | Warsaw, Poland (Onsite)

About the opportunity

Remote People is the sourcing partner of a chinese global energy storage manufacturer that is growing rapidly in Europe. The company develops and delivers residential and commercial energy storage systems and inverters, and is now building out its European technical support organization. We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer in the Warsaw area who wants to be part of this growth and become the key link between the local team and the company’s headquarters.

The role is based onsite near Warsaw.

Your role

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be the first technical contact for European installers, distributors and end users of residential and commercial storage and inverter products. In addition, you will act as the main point of contact with the HQ team. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Answering technical inquiries from customers through the support hotline
• Providing after-sales support via WhatsApp and email
• Troubleshooting product issues and guiding customers on correct installation
• Collecting and analyzing technical issues, documenting them clearly and reporting them to the HQ team so they can be resolved quickly
• Coordinating with the HQ team and bridging communication between customers and headquarters
• Supporting customers with product guidance and technical know-how
• Traveling occasionally for on-site support, trainings or customer visits
• Taking on additional tasks assigned by your supervisor

Your profile

• Degree or background in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Chinese language skills and familiarity with Chinese business culture
• Experience from related industries such as PV, electronics or energy storage is welcome
• Knowledge of PV and energy storage is a plus
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a customer-first mindset
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with international teams
• Solid command of Polish and English for daily communication
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel; a company car is provided, or rental with expenses covered
