Job summary

Sword Group is seeking an experienced Technical ICT Project Coordinator to join an international European public-sector project. The role focuses on ICT project coordination, engagement with networks, cloud/data centre, cybersecurity, databases, IAM, and workplace services, with governance and service transition responsibilities.

You will work with technical teams and external suppliers, ensuring plans, milestones and acceptance criteria are met, while maintaining documentation and facilitating

Qualifications

• BSc (or higher) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years IT-relevant experience, with at least 3 in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of ICT project lifecycle, governance and delivery methods.
• Experience coordinating ICT infrastructure projects across networks, cloud/data centre, databases, IAM and workplace services.
• Proficient with project planning and control tools.
• Familiar with ICT service management, change, and service transition.
• Experience with stakeholder, supplier and contract coordination in ICT projects.
• Excellent communication, documentation and reporting skills.
• One international certification: PM², PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ICT projects and initiatives through their lifecycle from planning to closure.
• Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and acceptance criteria.
• Track progress, risks, issues, changes, resources and cross-team dependencies.
• Coordinate engagement across technical teams covering networks, cloud/data centre, cybersecurity, databases, IAM, workplace, monitoring and operations.
• Facilitate scoping, readiness, testing, integration and operational activities.
• Organise project meetings, technical workshops, status reviews and decision sessions.
• Support procurement documentation, supplier mobilisation and ICT contract implementation.
• Maintain project dashboards and logs (action, decision, dependency, change).
• Coordinate testing, acceptance, handover, and knowledge transfer.

We are currently looking for a Technical ICT Project Coordinator to join an international European public-sector project.

The role focuses on ICT project coordination, infrastructure engagement, stakeholder and supplier coordination, governance and service transition, working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders and external suppliers.

What you will do...

• Coordinate ICT projects and initiatives throughout their lifecycle, from planning and execution to monitoring and closure
• Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables and acceptance criteria
• Track progress, risks, issues, changes, resources and cross-team dependencies
• Coordinate engagement across technical teams covering networks, cloud/data centre, cybersecurity, databases, IAM, workplace, monitoring and operations
• Facilitate technical scoping, readiness, testing, integration and operational activities
• Organise and facilitate project meetings, technical workshops, status reviews and decision sessions
• Support procurement documentation, supplier mobilisation and ICT contract implementation
• Maintain project documentation, dashboards, action, decision, dependency and change logs
• Coordinate testing, acceptance, handover, operational readiness and knowledge transfer

Technical Skills required...

• Minimum 5 years of IT-relevant professional experience, including at least 3 years in a similar position
• BSc (or higher) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any other relevant field
• Strong knowledge of ICT project lifecycle, governance and delivery methods, including PM² or equivalent
• Good understanding of ICT infrastructure domains, including networks, cloud/data centre, databases, IAM, workplace services, monitoring and operations
• Good knowledge of project planning and control tools
• Good understanding of ICT service management, change, operational readiness and service transition
• Experience with stakeholder, supplier and contract coordination in an ICT environment
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, facilitation, reporting and documentation skills
• At least one internationally recognised certification: PM², PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent

Experience in the following will be considered as an asset:

• Experience coordinating ICT infrastructure projects involving multiple technical domains
• Experience coordinating dependencies across network, cloud/data centre, databases, IAM, workplace, cybersecurity, monitoring or service operations
• Experience supporting supplier engagement, procurement documentation, Proofs of Concept or ICT contract implementation
• Practical experience with Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Jira, MS Project, Planner or equivalent
• Experience in service transition and operational readiness
