Job summary

Reply in Katowice, Poland is seeking a Business Analyst to translate business requirements into technical specs, design end-to-end solutions, and manage backlogs. You’ll collaborate with business and engineering teams, coordinate projects, and produce dashboards for decision-making.

The role supports SAFe and Scrum methods in an AWS/microservices context. You’ll work in a dynamic environment with monthly in-person planning sessions in Katowice and ongoing learning opportunities, including

Qualifications

• Higher education completed as IT specialist or CS degree.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements.
• Experience in an agile software development environment.
• Strong backlog management and agile delivery understanding.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with tools like Postman, Draw.io, DataDog or similar.
• Understanding of AWS environments and microservices-based apps.
• General networks, databases, and software architecture knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proactive with ownership.
• Knowledge of SAFe practices and frameworks.
• Fluent English; German language is a plus.

• Meet with the Katowice team at least once a month to plan work.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of higher education as a qualified IT specialist or university degree in computer science.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Experience working in an agile software development environment.
• Strong understanding of product backlog management and agile delivery processes.
• Good familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with tools such as Postman, Draw.io, DataDog, or similar.
• Understanding of AWS environments and microservices-based applications.
• General understanding of networks, databases, and software architecture concepts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and facilitate discussions across business and technical teams.
• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Knowledge of SAFe practices and frameworks.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Communication skills in German is a plus.
