CD PROJEKT RED is hiring a Tech QA Lead for the Polaris project, The Witcher 4, based at the Warsaw studio. You will lead a technical QA team, convert the Polaris QA strategy into practical plans, and ensure high-quality milestones across tooling, performance, and gameplay.

This office-first role requires strong leadership, game-automation experience, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Relocation is supported; hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading Tech QA teams.
• Experience with performance testing, QA metrics, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and defect workflows.
• Experience with Unreal Engine or in-house engines and tools.
• Ability to develop and execute testing strategies for complex games.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Tech QA team with accountability and growth.
• Adapt Polaris QA strategy into actionable testing plans and priorities.
• Own testing execution, milestone verification, and quality standards.
• Monitor quality metrics and risk trends to inform mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external QA vendors.
• Provide data-driven quality reporting and transparent blockers.
• Drive QA workflow, tooling, and documentation improvements.
• Provide hands-on technical support for investigations and debugging.
