CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Tech QA Lead for the Polaris project, The Witcher 4, to manage a Technical QA team and translate the project QA strategy into actionable plans. You will ensure milestone verification, monitor technical quality, and drive continuous QA improvements across workflows, tools, and reporting.

You will collaborate with Production, Development, Tech, QA Experts, and cross-functional teams to support engine and tool quality, performance, and stability within a large-scale RPG

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading or managing Tech QA teams.
• 5+ years direct performance management experience.
• 5+ years experience in game development.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, defect management, test planning, and quality reporting.
• Experience with Unreal Engine or in-house engines and editors.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Tech QA team with accountability and growth.
• Adapt Polaris QA strategy into practical testing approaches and priorities.
• Own testing execution and milestone verification ensuring quality.
• Monitor quality metrics and risk trends to build mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with development, production and external QA vendors to coordinate work.
• Maintain clear, data-informed quality reporting for stakeholders.
• Drive improvements in QA workflows, tools, and documentation.
• Provide hands-on technical support for investigations and debugging.
