Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Tech QA Lead to drive the Polaris project’s technical QA strategy and lead a high-performing QA team. You will ensure milestone verification, improve QA workflows, and collaborate across Production, Development, and external QA vendors to safeguard engine and tool quality, performance, and stability.

The role is office-first in Warsaw, with full-time or hybrid options, and relocation is required.

Qualifications

5+ years experience leading or managing Tech QA teams.
5+ years experience with performance management and career development.
5+ years experience in game development.
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, bug workflows and quality reporting.
Experience with Unreal Engine or in-house engine tooling.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop the Tech QA team with accountability and growth.
Adapt Polaris QA strategy into practical testing plans and measurable outcomes.
Own testing execution and milestone verification to meet tech quality standards.
Monitor quality metrics and risk trends; create mitigation plans.
Collaborate with Production, Development, QA vendors and cross-functional teams.
Maintain transparent quality reporting for stakeholders.
Drive QA workflow optimization, tooling, and documentation.
Provide hands-on support for complex technical investigations when needed.
