CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Tech QA Lead to head the Polaris project's technical QA efforts for The Witcher 4. You will manage a high-performing QA team, align QA strategy with project goals, and ensure quality across engines, tools, and pipelines.

Your role spans strategy, hands-on testing support, risk management, and collaboration with Production, Development, and external QA vendors to deliver reliable, scalable testing and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Tech QA teams in game development.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, defect workflows, and reporting.
• Experience with Unreal Engine or in-house engine tooling.
• Ability to develop testing strategies for integration, performance, and stability.
• Experience with QA metrics, KPIs, and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Tech QA team with clear roles.
• Adapt Polaris QA strategy into practical testing plans and priorities.
• Own testing execution and milestone verification to meet standards.
• Monitor quality metrics and risk trends; implement mitigations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and QA vendors.
• Provide data-informed quality reporting for stakeholders.
• Drive QA process and tool optimizations; improve workflows.
• Offer hands-on technical support for complex investigations.
