Job summary

UBS Group AG is seeking a skilled professional for Investment Management Operations Trade Processing in Poland. The team handles confirmation, affirmation and settlement for securities trading within UBS Asset Management and collaborates with managers, traders and custodians across regions.

The role requires strong understanding of global markets, a broad set of instruments, and a proactive, compliant mindset. Polish offices in Kraków and Wrocław support US hours where applicable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Buy-Side trade processing environment.

Key Responsibilities

You will be working in Investment Management Operations Trade Processing service, providing confirmation, affirmation and settlement services for Securities trading activity within UBS Asset Management. The Team is responsible for processing asset classes and instruments such as equities, fixed income, FX, TBA's, Repos, money market products and mutual funds.

The team

Your team will be based in Poland, is a part of a global function which has presence in London, Chicago, Zurich and Singapore. The Team works in close conjunction with Portfolio Manager, Traders, Brokers, Custodians and various global Operations teams.

US Confirmation team is working US hours, performing operational services to US business of UBS Asset Management.

Your Skills And Experience

• previous leadership experience is a great asset
• 3+ years experience working within a Buy-Side trade processing environment (highly desirable)
• understanding of Global Markets and a wide range of Security Instruments
• solid understanding of the end to end trade lifecycle from execution through confirmation, settlement, and post settlement, including knowledge of standard trade processing market solutions, e.g. CTM, SWIFT, knowledge of depositaries fro different markets
• hands on experience processing Securities and FX, including: FX Spot, Forwards, Swaps, Fixed Income (bonds), Equities, ETFs, Repo and Money Market instruments
• a strong risk-awareness mentality and knowledge of global regulations for Asset Managers
• strong written and verbal communication skills
• the ability to multi-task and solve problems
• automation skills including VBA, Power BI, Python would be a great asset
• experience with securities & FX matching platforms, as well as knowledge of securities and FX-associated SWIFT messages would be an asset
