Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in Kraków, Poland is seeking a Senior Manager Tax NFR to lead first line Tax risk support within Finance, monitoring risk and driving mitigation actions across the Controllership function.

You will collaborate with Risk Stewards, Internal Audit and External Auditors, guiding RCAs and CMPs, improving controls, and ensuring compliance with the Risk Management Framework while promoting a strong risk culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in tax risk management within finance.
• Ability to lead risk assessments and control testing.
• Strong communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax risk guidance to Controllership on risk exposure and reporting.
• Lead RCAs and CMPs with risk owners for timely risk assessment and mitigation.
• Define and drive finance control testing related to Tax Risk with risk stewards and financial controllers.
• Improve tax process controls and advise on changes affecting tax controls.
• Promote risk culture and stakeholder engagement at governance meetings.
