Job summary

Trading 212 is seeking an Operations Manager to build the operational backbone of recruiting, making the Talent function scalable, measurable, and well-run. You will report to the Head of Operations, Talent, as the second in the function, managing systems, processes and reporting in a dynamic environment.

The role suits an early-career professional who can define missing pieces and turn ambiguity into practical solutions; prior Talent Ops experience is not required as the context can be learned.

Qualifications

• Strong academic foundation in a quantitative discipline.
• Excellent structured thinking and analytical ability.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Evidence of independently owning projects from problem definition through implementation.
• Ability to operate effectively with limited direction.
• Strong attention to detail with a wider objective in mind.
• Confident communicating with senior stakeholders.
• Bias towards action and interest in systems, automation and data.
• Background in SQL, Python or workflow automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own ATS, recruiting tools, and wider recruiting infrastructure.
• Map workflows, identify gaps, and build effective processes.
• Identify repetitive work and implement scalable solutions.
• Build dashboards and reporting on funnel performance, hiring velocity, bottlenecks, and recruiter performance.
• Ensure recruiting data is accurate, structured, and usable for decision-making.
• Help design and operationalize scalable hiring initiatives.
• Ensure the candidate journey is consistent, efficient, and high quality.
• Collaborate with Talent, hiring managers, People, and other functions.
• Proactively identify what is broken and what should be built next.
