Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in Kraków is seeking a Subcontract Administrator to join our expanding GBS Procurement Team. You will manage end-to-end subcontracting for professional and construction services, from sourcing and bid evaluation to contract award and execution.

The role requires 5+ years in construction contracting, a Bachelor’s in business/construction, MS Office proficiency, and strong communication. You will work late shifts with a hybrid office option.

Qualifications

  • Available to work late shifts (12 pm – 8 PM local Krakow time).
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, construction, supply chain, or operations management, or equivalent project experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction contracting.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Biopharmaceutical/Life Science Manufacturing Projects is preferred.
  • Experience using MS Office tools, including intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work and thrive in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • A drive to solve complex and challenging problems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end subcontracting process for professional and construction services, from sourcing and bid evaluation to contract award and execution.
  • Coordinate procurement activities related to subcontracted services, ensuring compliance with project requirements, company policies, and established procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Procurement Managers, Project Managers, Construction Managers, and other stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
  • Lead subcontract administration activities for small projects and independently manage day-to-day subcontracting tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Apply procurement best practices and knowledge of subcontracting principles to ensure effective execution of subcontracting activities.
