Job summary

Corning Incorporated in Poland seeks a Senior Specialist to support regional and global sourcing strategies for Direct Materials for OFC cable and fiber manufacturing plants in Poland (Strykow, Mszczonow). The role collaborates with Sourcing Managers and planning teams to optimize NPC, supplier performance and data quality.

The position reports to the Manager, OFC EMEA Procurement and is part of the Global Supply Management network, with responsibilities spanning data analysis, SAP maintenance,

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Engineering, Technology, Supply Chain, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing and/or Supply Chain.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing industry.
• Very good command of English language.
• Very good knowledge of SAP R/3, MS Office software.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead the Packaging and Resin category with the respective GSM EMEA Category leads.
• Lead the process for NPC calculation and reporting.
• Maintain Purchasing data for all Direct materials in SAP based on input of Sourcing Managers and own analysis.
• Collect, analyze and report data for supplier performance, NPC, spend.
• Improve sourcing data quality in ERP and GSM databases to drive strategic value.
• Identify material-related synergies for NPC and supplier consolidation.
