Job summary

Corning Inc. in Poland (Stryków) seeks a Senior Procurement Specialist to drive regional and global Direct Materials sourcing for OFC cables and fiber manufacturing. You will coordinate with plant, regional teams and GSM EMEA to implement sourcing strategies and NPC objectives.

The role requires collaboration with Sourcing Managers and material planners, ensuring NPC, supplier OTD and data integrity across SAP and ERP systems. Travel up to 10% domestically/internationally.

Qualifications

• Engineering or related degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years in Strategic Sourcing or Supply Chain.
• Minimum 1 year in manufacturing industry.
• Very good command of English.
• Knowledge of SAP R/3 and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead Packaging and Resin category with GSM EMEA leads.
• Lead NPC calculation and reporting process.
• Maintain Purchasing data in SAP (Info Records, Source Lists, Vendor Master).
• Collect and report data on supplier performance, NPC, spend.
• Improve data quality in ERP and GSM databases to drive value.
• Lead material sampling orders for Engineering and Sourcing teams.
• Negotiate sourcing conditions and Master Supply Agreements, including eAuctions.
• Represent GSM in cross-functional project teams and ensure IP compliance.
