Job summary

OPmobility is seeking an Indirect Software Buyer based in Kraków to define and manage purchasing strategies for Software and AI, lead sourcing activities, and negotiate with suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers, drive the procure-to-pay process, and ensure alignment with company policies and ethical standards. A hybrid work pattern is offered with flexibility in-office and home-office arrangements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience buying software (subscription, SaaS, enterprise agreements, etc.) in an international environment.
• Proven track record in leading complex negotiations and RFP processes with measurable savings.
• Fluent English; French would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage purchasing strategies for the Software and AI supplier portfolio, including market analysis, benchmarking, supplier mapping and innovation trends.
• Lead sourcing processes according to plant and project needs, in line with company procedures and cost/delivery targets.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiations and contracts, aligning with purchasing policies and business expectations.
• Oversee the procure-to-pay process, including spending checks, setup of orders and contracts, and follow-up on payment terms.
• Monitor and report supplier performance, invoicing accuracy, and delivery of agreed conditions.
• Identify and promote cost-saving opportunities, including technical savings proposed by suppliers or internal teams.
• Manage risks within the category and support supplier-related problem-solving activities.
