Job summary

OPmobility in Kraków is seeking an experienced Indirect Software Buyer to lead purchasing strategies for Software and AI, manage supplier negotiations and contracts, and drive cost, quality and delivery targets.

You will work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, oversee the procure-to-pay cycle, monitor supplier performance and identify cost-saving opportunities while managing risk.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Buyer, with experience in software purchasing in an international environment.
• Proven track record in leading complex negotiations and RFP processes, with measurable savings delivered.
• Strong ability to challenge vendors while building effective, long-term supplier relationships.
• Ability to build strong internal relationships and influence stakeholders across different functions.
• Fluent English; French would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage purchasing strategies for the Software and AI supplier portfolio, including market analysis and supplier mapping.
• Lead sourcing processes according to plant and project needs, following company procedures and cost targets.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiations and contracts, ensuring alignment with purchasing policies.
• Oversee procure-to-pay process, including spending authorization checks, order setup, and follow-up on payment terms.
• Monitor and report supplier performance, productivity, invoicing accuracy, and delivery of conditions.
• Identify and promote cost-saving opportunities and manage category risks.
