Job summary

UL Solutions, a global leader in safety science, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead small to medium initiatives from planning through delivery. You will guide cross-functional teams, manage risks, and report to sponsors while aligning deliverables with strategic outcomes.

Strong communication and governance adherence are essential. Experience in project lifecycles (Agile/SCRUM/Waterfall) and familiarity with budgeting, ROI metrics, and vendor coordination will be valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business or related field.
• PMP/PRINCE2 and/or Agile certification preferred but not required.
• Strong project management and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing the implementation of small to medium projects.
• Provides leadership and support to project team members.
• Acts as front-line contact on project activities, issues, and risks.
• Manages project risks and issues and escalates accordingly.
• Interfaces with business leaders and finance to develop ROI/IRR and other metrics.
• Communicates with stakeholders and escalates as needed.
• Plans, monitors, and manages projects through life cycle.
• Manages project budget and financial performance.
• Coordinates projects and interdependencies.
• Utilizes resources effectively and aligns outputs with project outcomes.
